The intention for this backyard was to make the most of the available space, giving the homeowner a true outdoor retreat without overcomplicating the design. Belgard pavers define the layout, with a raised section that introduces both height and interest.
A poured-in-place retaining wall was built with a Trex floating bench, offering extra seating in a way that feels integrated and streamlined. Trex was also used for the elevated 18″ deck, where cable railing keeps the look open while providing safety.
Planting was carefully selected to do more than just add greenery—trees were placed with the long-term vision of creating a natural privacy screen, while accent lighting highlights the details after dark. The result is a backyard that feels practical, inviting, and tailored to the homeowner’s everyday living.
