  For this project, the homeowner wanted a sleek space that was also safe for children. We installed Techo-Bloc pavers and built a custom poured-in-place wall with a floating bench, perfectly paired with a fire pit for cozy gatherings. A TimberTech deck was added for comfortable family dining, while artificial turf created a soft play area. The outdoor kitchen, featuring granite countertops, enhances the space for entertaining, and concrete steppers add a stylish touch. To complete the look, we painted the fence black, adding a bold contrast to the design.

  The objective for this design was to capture the essence of Spanish-style architecture, inspired by other homes in the area with similar charm. To achieve that classic look, we covered the entire exterior in beautiful brick, creating a rich finish that really brings out the desired style. The front yard showcases a flagstone walkway set between mulch, with a central planter that serves as a focal point. The side yard was updated with Granitecrete, offering a natural, seamless look. In the backyard, we built a custom brick kitchen with a built-in grill, perfect for outdoor cooking. A deck with a hot tub creates a private retreat for the homeowners to relax and enjoy their space. To complete the design, we added a variety of plants to bring in some textures, while lighting was strategically placed to highlight the home and yard at night, adding a cozy, inviting glow. Together, these elements came together seamlessly to create a stunning Spanish-style retreat, perfectly suited to the homeowner’s vision.

A pickleball court perfect for entertainment, and carefully selected trees provide privacy and elegance. For relaxation, we installed a prefab firepit under a stylish pergola and a tranquil water feature as the final touch. This space seamlessly blends function and beauty.

The area features a mix of Techo Bloc pavers and concrete steppers with a broom finish, set alongside drain rock for easy upkeep. A sunken patio offers a cozy space, with two custom gorgeous metal pergolas and privacy screens giving it a luxurious touch. For ultimate comfort, we added outdoor fans and heaters to keep the space inviting all year round. A turf area ensures a low-maintenance, lush backdrop, while a sleek prefab firepit becomes a central gathering spot. The outdoor bar counter with TimberTech veneer is perfect for entertaining. Floating steps with rim lighting offer a stylish touch. With uplights and step lights setting the mood and thoughtfully designed landscape beds, the space is both functional and elevated.

The custom outdoor kitchen, with its sleek white granite countertops and European ledge veneer finish, is perfect for outdoor cooking and entertaining. A beautifully crafted fireplace and a 24’ long Trex seating bench with a backrest add not only warmth but comfort to the space. An eye-catching water feature with drought-resistant plants completes the design with easy-to-maintain beauty.

To the left of the kitchen, an extended seat wall with matching pavers ties the space together, with multiple garden screens to add an extra touch. A custom pergola adds a touch of elegance, while concrete steppers guide the way through the landscape. The pet-friendly synthetic turf area offers a safe space for dogs, while a built-in spa adds a luxury touch. The patio combines Techo Bloc pavers with Westmount pavers for added sophistication, along with a raised planter for plants and a concrete firepit for cozy nights. String lights above complete the desired setting , creating a warm, inviting glow. For the front yard, concrete steppers lead to a decking porch with natural grass and an elegant looking paver driveway, completing the seamless blend of modern and welcoming.

To bring everything to life, In-lite lighting was installed around the yard, casting a beautiful glow.

The front yard features a Techo Bloc Hexa driveway, carefully sealed for durability, paired with concrete steppers in a natural gray top-cast finish accented with La Paz rock. A striking boulder adds a sculptural element, while a decomposed granite pathway guides the eye and movement toward the backyard.These retaining walls help organize the space while adding subtle architectural detail with a floating TimberTech bench integrated seamlessly for extra seating and front yard gatherings. Lush grass completes the front yard, balancing the hardscape with natural softness. In the backyard, a sunken Techo Bloc Diamond fire pit is framed by a floating TimberTech bench, forming a focal point that draws the space together. The expansive design allows for effortless hosting, with plenty of room for meal prep, dining, and a dedicated spot for their pizza oven—perfect for family pizza parties. To enhance the ambiance, we incorporated lush plantings, strategic outdoor lighting, and a Toja Grid pergola adorned with string lights, creating a cozy and stylish setting for both daytime and evening enjoyment. This thoughtfully designed space blends functionality with beauty, making it an ideal backyard retreat for family fun and entertaining.

  For this project, the goal was to carry the home’s Spanish-style charm into the backyard, creating a seamless extension of its character. Travertine natural stone and Adessi porcelain were used throughout, bringing earthy tones and timeless textures that feel rooted in tradition. A 10’x12’ pergola with custom log beams serves as the centerpiece of the outdoor living area, designed with heaters tucked inside to make cool evenings just as enjoyable as summer days. Planters and a wood retaining wall create dimension, with fresh plantings that lend color and a softer touch to the landscape. The outdoor kitchen, finished in smooth stucco and topped with granite countertops, offers a functional yet classic space for entertaining. A stucco fireplace built from CMU blocks anchors the yard, paired with a built-in bench that invites gatherings around the fire. With strategic lighting and carefully chosen plants, this backyard now feels warm, welcoming, and perfectly in tune with the home’s Spanish influence.

Multiple retaining walls were constructed to elevate sections of the yard and create level areas for different activities, giving the landscape a sense of structure and flow. Belgard pavers define the layout, with a raised section that introduces both height and interest. A poured-in-place retaining wall was built with a Trex floating bench, offering extra seating in a way that feels integrated and streamlined. Trex was also used for the elevated 18″ deck, where cable railing keeps the look open while providing safety. Planting was carefully selected to do more than just add greenery—trees were placed with the long-term vision of creating a natural privacy screen, while accent lighting highlights the details after dark. The result is a backyard that feels practical, inviting, and tailored to the homeowner’s everyday living.

Concrete steppers create natural pathways around the home, complemented by a decomposed granite walkway that keeps the space low-maintenance. Wide areas of artificial turf provide a clean, usable surface for play and everyday use. Retaining walls were built to level the terrain and create subtle separation between areas, while two decked sections serve as inviting spots for family time or casual gatherings. A striking black pergola adds shade and definition to the main seating area. Large 24″ planter boxes were included with future growth in mind, eventually forming a private barrier without interrupting the sense of openness. The design prioritizes ease, versatility, and enjoyment, making the backyard simple to navigate and easy to live in.
