How it works

Our six step design process.

  1. 01Discovery CallAn on-site meeting with the design team to discuss the project and listen to your needs, requirements and budget.
  2. 02Proposal & DepositA design proposal for the project, with a deposit to secure the work.
  3. 03Base ModelThe team builds a base model of the house and existing exterior, then a video call to go over early concepts.
  4. 04Design MagicThe design itself. Every conversation we have had feeds into it.
  5. 05Design RevealA video call walking you through a 3D tour of the space, discussing revisions — some made live.
  6. 06Design FinalizationRevisions applied, then drawings and documents go to the construction team and the build begins.

Portos Court

A Spanish-style house and a garden built in the same language. Heavy rough-sawn timber beams carry a deep covered terrace off the back of the house, hung with lanterns over a long dining table, and the outdoor kitchen sits under it — built-in grill, sink, cabinetry in a glazed turquoise tile. The pool runs the length of the yard with a raised spa at the near end and a pale stone surround, and one whole seating terrace is laid in patterned pale-blue tile. At the far end an arched rendered fireplace with a timber mantel and a log store above it faces a curved seat wall set with round woven cushions. Palms, bougainvillea and subtropical planting close it in.
