This backyard was designed to feel open and effortless, offering multiple zones for activity and relaxation. Concrete steppers create natural pathways around the home, complemented by a decomposed granite walkway that keeps the space low-maintenance. Wide areas of artificial turf provide a clean, usable surface for play and everyday use.

Retaining walls were built to level the terrain and create subtle separation between areas, while two decked sections serve as inviting spots for family time or casual gatherings. A striking black pergola adds shade and definition to the main seating area. Large 24″ planter boxes were included with future growth in mind, eventually forming a private barrier without interrupting the sense of openness. The design prioritizes ease, versatility, and enjoyment, making the backyard simple to navigate and easy to live in.
