For this project, the goal was to carry the home’s Spanish-style charm into the backyard, creating a seamless extension of its character. Travertine natural stone and Adessi porcelain were used throughout, bringing earthy tones and timeless textures that feel rooted in tradition.

A 10’x12’ pergola with custom log beams serves as the centerpiece of the outdoor living area, designed with heaters tucked inside to make cool evenings just as enjoyable as summer days. Planters and a wood retaining wall create dimension, with fresh plantings that lend color and a softer touch to the landscape.

The outdoor kitchen, finished in smooth stucco and topped with granite countertops, offers a functional yet classic space for entertaining. A stucco fireplace built from CMU blocks anchors the yard, paired with a built-in bench that invites gatherings around the fire. With strategic lighting and carefully chosen plants, this backyard now feels warm, welcoming, and perfectly in tune with the home’s Spanish influence.
