The Garden

Three outdoor rooms, one dark fence line

A black-stained fence frames the yard and lets each space glow. A covered kitchen sits against the house, a wood-look deck carries the dining table, and a pale paver court ends in a corner bench around a linear fire table. String lights and low path lights tie it together after dark.

Chapter 1 · The Terraces & Paving

A paver court that meets the deck

Large pale pavers are laid in a herringbone pattern with a dark border, and meet a raised wood-look deck along one clean edge. Planting beds with ornamental grasses soften the corner where the two surfaces meet. A strip of turf runs along the front, so the yard stays green year-round.

Chapter 2 · The Outdoor Kitchen

A built-in kitchen under a timber roof

Under an exposed timber roof, a built-in grill, sink and storage doors sit within a stucco-clad island topped with a granite counter. A stainless hood hangs overhead, and stepping pavers in the turf lead out to the dining deck. The counter faces the table, so the cook stays part of the evening.

Chapter 3 · The Fire Feature

A fire table in the corner

A poured concrete bench wraps the corner, with a warm wood seat that is lit from underneath. A long concrete fire table sits in front, close enough that everyone on the bench feels the heat. The pale pavers reflect the flames, and the existing tree gives the corner its canopy.

Chapter 4 · After Dark

Lit for the whole evening

Overhead string lights, bench under-lighting and low path lights give each room its own glow without flattening the garden. From above, the layout reads clearly: kitchen, deck and fire court arranged around a central lawn of turf and stepping pavers.
